1950s 1960s Vintage Dark Teal Blue-Green Silk Sheath Cocktail Dress & Shawl Set - Xs
An absolutely stunning vintage set in the prettiest dark teal color. The sheath style dress with the gathered waistline combination always creates a lovely silhouette! The piece is further enhanced with the matching shawl. And that plunging back is just so stunning! Fabric feels like silk and has no give. Zips in the back with a metal zipper. There was no maker label. It would likely best fit a modern Extra Small. Dress form is a modern XS for reference.

Shawl : this is a rectangle and measures 73 inches x 14 inches
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to the pieces. A few spots and faint discoloration in places that did not come out with cleaning on both pieces. The ones on the shawl seem to be mostly found on one side. Overall because of the shine to the fabric the marks and discolorations were very hard to see and capture on camera, but I have done my best. There were a few tiny snags or pin pricks found and some areas where it looks like a pull, but really is just the silk fabric weave. Inside seam allotments have some wear as well. A few loose threads that do not seem to impact wear. Hook and eye work, but just don’t seem like part of the same set. Fabric likes to wrinkle, so hang this up as soon as you receive it!
