RARE 1960s Vintage Cream Fully Sequined Cardigan Sweater - Sm to Md

$99.00

A dazzling example of a hard to find fully sequined vintage sweater!! You will certainly stun in this incredible fully sequined cream cardigan. The cardigan zips up the front with a metal Talon zipper. There is no label, but given the construction and style of the piece its likely from the 60s. Knit feels like wool, it is not lined. There is no size tag, but it would likely best fit a modern day Small to Medium, depending on how you like your cardigans to fit. Please refer to measurements. There is a teeny bit of give to the knit, but not a ton. Model is modern size 4-6 and dress form is a modern medium for reference.

Measurements zipped and not stretched:

  • Bust: 37 inches

  • Hem (bottom): 34 inches

  • Length: 19.5 inches from back of neck, down

  • Sleeve Length: about 20 inches as there is no shoulder seam to measure from

Good Vintage Condition- Some overall expected wear to piece. There are some pulls found in the internal area, but it does not seem like this impacts wear at all. Some looser stitches to the knit near the collar, but this seems to just be how its made. Numerous marks and discoloration found on the piece both inside and outside, as well as on some of the sequins. With the shine, this doesn’t seem too terribly noticeable from afar, but it is present. There are a few areas with slight sequin loss present. It does not seem like anything is loose any more, but please know that with vintage items continuous sequin loss is a high probability at some point - either sooner or later.

All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
