1940s 1950s Vintage Red Sweetheart Neckline Gathered Sleeve Cocktail Party Dress - Xs
Get ready to stun this holiday season in this lovely cranberry red cocktail dress! The piece- from the 40s or 50s based on the hem and talon metal zipper - features the loveliest gathered sleeves and sweetheart neckline. It zips at the side and has belt loops at the side but no belt. The fabric almost feels like moire, but without the funky pattern moire has. I am uncertain of fiber content. There are no labels. Would likely best fit a modern Extra Small. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference, she was unable to zip it fully.

Hips: relatively open given the size of the dress
Length: 43 inches
Sleeve Length:about 13 inches
Good vintage condition - Some general overall wear to the dress. There are a few loose threads in places, but they do not seem to impact wear or function. There is a few very small pinhead size holes found at the back inside, likely from dry cleaning tag. The fabric by top of the zipper area has some wear/mends. There are a few marks and faint areas of discoloration. They were so faint that I could not get them to show up on camera.
