1940s 1950s Vintage Bradley Knitwear Zephyr Wool Inky Blue Beaded Cardigan - XL to XXL ; 1X
Adorable and classic - great for vintage knit collectors - a lovely Bradley knit cardigan! This cute dark Inky blue cardigan features some smaller beaded details at the collar. It buttons down the front with blue buttons. Fabric is zephyr wool and has some give. Label is for Bradley Knitwear Inc. Would likely best fit a modern Xl to XXL or 1X, depending on how you like sweaters to fit. For reference dress form is a modern medium. Measurements provided are of the garment NOT stretched.

Sleeve Length: about 15 inches cuffed. There is no shoulder seam to measure from
Good Vintage Condition - Some overall wear to the piece. There is some overall pilling to the item, with some areas being pretty significant. The nubby texture helps with masking this to a degree, but it is still there and worth mentioning. The beading on the collar doesn’t always show fully if the cardigan is buttoned up all the way. I did find a few small repairs to the knit which only really seam visible from the inside of the piece or at the underside of the collar/cuffs. There is some wear to the beads - most of the pearly stuff is rubbed off, but it looks relatively uniform at this point . One button is chipped. The inside fabric they used during manufacture to make sure the beads laid correctly is fraying - this is normal and not at all surprising, further it does not impact wear or the beads at all (see last photo).
