1940s Vintage "Quaker Lady" Navy Blue See Through Lace Cocktail Dress - Md
A lovely vintage lace dress in navy blue. Elegant and simple, and easy to accessorize. The dress even features lovely little rhinestones at the neck. The dress is pretty see through given thats its comprised of lace(see up close image). You could wear it with a slip (like what is shown on model) or without- up to you. In the photos it is shown primarily on model with a pink slip underneath, but there are two images with a navy blue slip as well to give you an idea of what that may look like. The photos on the dress form show no slip underneath. The dress zips up the side with metal zipper. Label is for Quaker Lady. There is no size tag. Model is modern size 4/6 and dress form is modern Medium for reference. Models slips are not part of this piece and are not for sale.

Good vintage condition- Overall wear to piece as well as faint spotting/discoloration to piece. Some very small areas where there may have been mends to the item in the past - the most noticeable one to my eye is the second to last picture here, a mend to the lace. One small spot near hem where the piece was sewn oddly during its construction (see last photo). There are belt loops, but the original belt is missing. A few loose threads here and there that do not seem to impact wearability at all. Some wear to tag as well. Looks to have been re-hemmed a few times. It is lace, so it will be delicate - jut wear with care.
