A lovely brown day or cocktail dress for your fall and winter gatherings! The lovely fabric features a texture to the piece, giving an overall brushed effect. Dress zips up the back with metal zipper. No labels were found. Fabric has no give and feels like a possible cotton- silk blend as there is a very very minimal sheen to it, but there is no content tag to be certain. It would likely best fit a modern size Extra Small, possibly a Small but please see measurements as the hips are slender. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference and it fit technically, BUT was VERY snug in the hips.

Hips: 36 inches maximum, but given that its a layered skirt and for mobility I would say you should size down a tad
Length: 38.5 inches from back of collar, down
Sleeve Length: about 6.5 inches as there is no seam to measure from at the top of the shoulder
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to piece. A few areas of marks and discoloration that did not come out with cleaning are still noted on the piece, the most obvious to my eyes was at the underarms and upon the shoulders and the inside flap of the collar. I did try to show this in photos but it was difficult. A few small pulls to the piece but the brushed effect does hid this well. A few areas noted with some slight wear to the fabric with some slight pulling. The inside lining exhibits some more than average wear with some pulls and to the seams, some mends, some marks/spots, and some holes and wear to the fabric of the skirt portion as well as some even more significant wear with holes and pieces of the lining missing in the bodice portion - none of this should affect wear or be seen when worn as its the lining. The pleats may need steaming to get back into shape, especially after shipment. Wear to inner seam allotments in places. Fabric likes to wrinkle so hang this up as soon as you receive it.
