1950s 1960s Vintage Cream Summer Halter or Casual Bridal Sheath Dress with Embroidery -Md
A classic vintage halter dress in cream with a lovely embroidered vine pattern throughout. It even features one pocket!! Elegant and simple, and easy to accessorize. The dress is essentially a sheath dress, but with a halter like collar that buttons in the back. Zips up the back with metal talon zipper. Fabric feels like polished cotton, but it is lined in another fabric. There is no label. There is no size tag but style, fabric, construction method and zipper indicate its probably from the 50s or 60s. It would likely best fit a medium, but please see measurements as this seems like it was a handmade dress. Model is modern size 4/6 and dress form is modern Medium for reference. In the model photos and the first three dress form photos, the dress is pined in back.

Neck: about 6.5 inches across, so 13 inch circumference
Bust: 34 inches from flat lay as seen in image, but with the darting it seems to fit a 36 inch bust, which is the total bust of the dress form shown in photos.
Waist: 32 inches
Hips: 41 inches
Length: 42 inches - I measured this from the top of the front collar, straight down
Good vintage condition- Overall expected wear to dress. There are a few faint marks as well as teeny pinhole rust spots that I was unable to get out with cleaning. Some yellowing and spots to the inner lining in places. There are a few pulls and wear spots to the fabric and the embroidery as well.
