1950s 1960s Vintage Gloria Swanson Black Chiffon Cocktail Party Dress - Lg to XL
This amazing 1950’s or 1960s black dress features a lovely chiffon overlay that gives this a great fit and flare look - a lovely wardrobe staple! It has 3/4 length sleeves that makes this a great dress for both warmer and colder weather. Dress zips up the back with a black metal zipper. Label is for Gloria Swanson and it does feature a union tag. There are two loops of string for a belt if you wish, but the the original belt is missing. It would likely best fit modern extra large, possibly a large. Please read measurements. For reference the model is moderns size 4/6 and the dress form is a modern medium.

Waist: 33 inches
Hips: 48 inches
Sleeve Length: about 14 inches, but there is no shoulder seam to measure from
Length: 45 inches (measured at top of shoulders and down)
Good vintage condition - General expected overall wear. One dart in the back at the base of the bodice seem like its a bit loose, but this could also just be how it was stitched. There are a few minor holes and pulls in the chiffon overlay of the dress - the worst of it is pictured. Some wear to the interior as well, especially at the seam allotments. A few loose threads that do not seem to impact wear at all. Some marks/ faint areas of discoloration that did not come out with cleaning! Fabric likes to wrinkle so hang it up straight away!
