1950s 1960s Vintage "Lady Petite" Black Floral and Wheat Brocade-like Cocktail Dress - Lg to XL
I love this dress~ the subtlety to the floral and wheat brocade-like pattern of this garment is so elegant and creates a lovely texture to the dress. The classic silhouette makes this piece a showstopper too, a great wardrobe staple! Zips up the back with a metal zipper. There is a slight give to the fabric. It would likely best fit a modern size Large to Extra Large, please see measurements below. Model is modern size 4/6 and dress form is a modern Medium for reference.

Hips: 39 inches, up to 42 inches when stretched

Good vintage condition - Overall wear to the piece. There is some wear to the fabric found in a few places (please see up close pictures for an idea of what I mean). There is especially some wear to the inner lining and tag. There is some slight color fade to the piece, really just like something that has been washed a couple times, with the inner lining where it is the most obvious to my eye. The raised parts of the floral and wheat pattern are flattened in some areas (from dry cleaning) though this is most present near the hem.
