1950s 1960s Vintage Large Copper Swirled Brooch or Pin

$39.00

Such a lovely and unique vintage brooch. The large piece features metal in a copper color (uncertain if its real copper or not), and is very indicative of Mid-century style. The two swirl joined together is very unique. There is no maker stamp. Fastens in the back with a pin. Likely from the 50s or 60s.

Measures about 2.75 x 1.75 inches

Good Vintage Condition - Some overall wear to the brooch but presents beautifully. There are numerous small scratches and marks/ slight tarnish to the piece on both the polished (outer) and non-polished (inner) side. Not all areas of the outer side are equally polished - where the two swirls meet for example. I tried to take as many pictures of the scuffs and scratches and wear as possible, but my phone and the trees keep reflecting in it, often distorting the images but I think you can still get an idea of how it looks. Not a flaw - but just how it was made - the pin in back is really long for how thin it is, so just be careful when pinning it so it doesn’t bend. It should not cause any issues, but I just wanted to note that just in case!

All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
