1950s 1960s Vintage Malter Furs Black Ribbon Jacket Cardigan or Blazer - Md
Absolutely stunning. This lovely black ribbon jacket would make a lovely addition to any cocktail or evening wear. It must have taken so much time and skill to make the intricate floral pattern in ribbon - its absolutely stunning. Jacket is lined in what feels like silk and the exterior is ribbon. Label is for Malter Furs. It features 3 hook closers in the front. It would likely best fit a modern Medium - there is no give to fabric. For sizing purposes please remember that this was intended to be worn over a dress or top. Model is a modern 4/6 and dress form is a modern size Medium for reference.

Length: about 20.5 inches measured from back of neck, down- it seems longer in back than in front)
Sleeve Length: about 14.5 inches
Good vintage condition- Some overall wear to the piece with some loose threads and some wear to the ribbon. There are a few marks to the piece, but most noticeable seems to be on the interior lining. The edges of the hem and sleeves do seem to like to bunch up a bit - I tried to demonstrate this in up close images but it is somewhat difficult
Please remember Black is very hard to capture on camera AND show details. Some images show it more grey in the close ups just because had to change the saturation. To my eye it looks more black.
