What is better for Autumn than a lovely brown dress? The warm brown tone coupled with the delicate and simple lace detailing at the sleeves and collar will surely make this a great option for Fall! Snap and buttons partially in the front at the bodice, but it is still a pull over (or I suppose it could be also a step into) piece. Label is for Nan-Leslie. Fabric feels like cotton, possibly a cotton blend. Would likely best fit a modern Medium, I do think look is meant to be slightly bloused. Please see measurements. For reference dress form is a modern medium and model is a modern 4/6.

Measurements :
Bust: 40 inches
Waist: 28 inches from flat lay and doubled, but about 29 inches from when pulled taught.
Hips: relatively open given flare style of dress but about 50 inches to keep pleating in tact.
Length: 41.5 inches (from back of collar, down)
Sleeve Length: about 10.5 inches (from shoulder down and when cuffed)
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to the dress. Pleats may need to be ironed/steamed to get them back into shape after shipping. Some wear to the tag. The belt has some wear as well including bending to the stiff internal structure of the belt. Some loose threads here and there that do not seem to impact wear. Some pulls to the fabric in places though I think this is more a flaw from when the fabric was woven, before it was made into a dress. Some faint marks that did not come out with cleaning. The most obvious to me was on the chest as well as at the back of the piece - this was difficult to capture up close with the camera but I did try (see last few photos). It can also be seen on model and dress form photos.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment.
