A STUNNING vintage 1950s cozy Fall blouse and skirt set. The lovely almost caramel brown color of the blouse features a colorful trim upon the collar, sleeves, and hem that match the corresponding skirt! The blouse has ¾ length sleeves and is a pull over that zips up the side with a metal Talon zipper and buttons with at the unique asymmetrically designed collar. The skirt has buttons and a metal Talon zipper at the side as well. The label is for Alex Coleman, but there is no size tag. Fabric is warmer and feels possibly like wool for the colorful trim and skirt, but the brown portion of the blouse feels like a possibly wool blend or an acrylic mimicking wool - in all, I am just not sure the fiber content and while I don’t think this is itchy, if you have a wool allergy please do not purchase this in an abundance of caution! Would likely best fit a modern Extra Small because of the waist of the skirt. If you are just wearing the blouse, top could easily fit a Small. For reference model is modern women’s size 4/6 and skirt was VERY VERY tight in the waist. Please see measurement.

Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to the piece. Some very slight fuzzing and tiny pulls here and there to the fabric on both pieces. Some wear to the button holes. Some marks on the tag in the blouse. A few loose threads that do not seem to impact wear. And what looks to be a very small mend to the shoulder of the top (see last photo).
