Vivid blue floral summer dress from the late 50s or early 60s. The bright blue colors of this floral printed dress really stand out. The overall silhouette is classic and easy for summer. Zips up the side with a metal talon zipper, so it’s still a pull over piece. Fabric feels like cotton. There are no tags to indicate maker. Pinking to the seams, suggests its possibly handmade, but its done VERY well. Would likely best fit a modern Small. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference.

Bust: 36 inches from flat lay, about 38 if you account for darting.
Waist: 26 inches
Hips: relatively free given the style, but up to about 50 inches
Length: 44 inches from back of collar, down
Sleeve Length: abut 5.5 inches - there is no shoulder seam to measure from.
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to item. There is some slight color fade to the piece - like that of something that has been washed a few times. A few areas of faint discoloration - while these were still faint and hard to spot unless examining closely the most obvious to my eye were at the left underarm and the small of the back. A few marks too that did not come out with cleaning. TEENY tiny pull at the base of the “V” in front. Not a flaw, but common in dresses of the period - you can see some of the stitching at the hems or edges of places.
