1950s Vintage Designer "Suzy Perette" Light Blue Polkadot Crop Top - Md to Lg
If you love polka dots or Suzy Perette (or both!) than look no further! This adorable top is a great piece for summer. The light blue silk fabric has large off-white polkadots painted on. It buttons up the back with what feels like leather covered buttons. While it is now a cropped top, I think that its highly likely this originally was the top piece to a 1950s dress set- sadly I never saw the dress. It would likely best fit a modern Medium or Large. The hem is asymmetrical. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference.

Waist: about 34 inches, difficult to measure as its a high-low hem.
Sleeve Length: 5 inches
Length in Front: 14 inches
Fair Vintage Condition - flawed but seems to present beautifully. The piece has some overall wear and while it is wearable there are a lot of issues of note. First there is some overall fading to the silk with the occasional spotting and marks found here and there- given the shine of the fabric these are difficult to photograph, but I tried my best. The interior has some wear as well. The biggest issue is a fingernail sized hole in the back that has been mended. It looks like a piece of the extra fabric in the interior was cut out to repair this hole. I photographed both (the last two images). There are a number of small wear spots and pin holes to the silk. Some wear to the fabric at the shoulder seam- slight shattering. Sold as is - may be best for costume or study.
