1950s Vintage Elinor Porter Blue Satin Cocktail Dress with Detachable Shawl - XS to SM
Such a great piece for a costume, photoshoot, or study! This fun little set includes a great wiggle dress and a matching shawl. The shawl attaches to the dress via the rhinestone buttons. Dress zips up the side with metal zipper. Label is for Elinor Porter. Would likely best fit a modern Small or Extra Small, as hips are narrow. For reference, dress form is size 0 and it had to be pinned for photos.

Fair vintage condition - Photographs beautifully from afar, but up close there are a number of flaws seen. General wear to the entire piece, inside and out. First , the biggest issue are numerous marks color bleed/run and areas of discoloration where the blue is darker in some spots than in others. The button on the back does not match that on the front and some of the rhinestones are clearer than others. There is evidence of prior mends. There are some scratches too to the fabric. Fabric likes to wrinkle. The interior lining of the skirt has been cut. May be best for costume or study.
