1950s Vintage Dusty Pink & Pale Lavender Tulle Cupcake Formal Ball Gown - Xs
An ethereal vision of tulle in the palest dusty pink and lavender colors. The lavender-pink tulle lays atop very pale -almost sand colored- underdress. The tulle is pleated lovely at the bust and exhibits a fun texture along the skirt. The added satin sash really makes this piece stand out! Zips up the side with a metal talon zipper. There is no maker tag, however it did have a small remnant of the size tag left (though this is worn and only a partial tag). The dress would likely best fit a modern Extra Small. For reference, dress form is size 0 and it zipped up just fine. The model is modern size 4/6 and the dress could not be zipped up all the way.

Fair vintage condition - Presents beautifully and can be worn as is, but like with most vintage tulle dresses this one is not perfect, and may be best for costume or study. There are a few areas of marks on the tulle, the underdress and the satin sash. The biggest issue is that around the bodice, mends to the tulle have occurred - please see last photos. The worst mended area is along the side of the bodice, which fortunately your arm covers for the most part when worn. Mended tulle creates a gorgeous affect in my opinion, but you could always add embellishments to cover it if its not to your liking. Otherwise the tulle of the skirt looks like it’s in pretty decent shape overall with only minor wear and marks. The underdress itself has some overall discoloration - this is best seen from the inside of the dress as the tulle tends to mask it somewhat from the exterior. There are also some marks and spots u=on the underdress that would not come out - the worst being on the back of the piece, but again the tulle really does a good job at distracting the eye. Some loose threads here and there and the boning and interior of the dress also has some wear, but overall it should not affect wear.
