1950s Vintage Rusty Orange Wool Front Button Sheath Style Fall Dress - Sm
Classic and simple. This rusty muted orange front button fitted sheath style dress would be a perfect addition to any fall wardrobe. The piece features the loveliest darting to accentuate the waist and it buttons up the front with buttons that match the fabric of the dress. Fabric feels like wool and dress is not lined. There are no labels to indicate maker or exact date, but based upon style and how it was made, it is likely from the 1950s and probably homemade. Would likely best fit a modern small. For reference the model is a modern 4/6 and it was a tad bit snug in the hips, but doable.

Measurements :
Bust: 35 inches
Waist: 27 inches
Hips: 37 inches
Length: 44 inches from back of neck, down
Good vintage condition- Some overall wear to piece. Some slight overall fuzzing to the fabric as well as some very very slight overall color fade, like something thats just been washed a few times. There is some additional discoloration I saw at one underarm. Some slight wear to the seam allotments, button holes and buttons. One very small pinhole found.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
