A lovely day dress that will surely become a wardrobe staple. The piece is comprised of a yellow and white (or off white) stripes with the most unique little pattern of rectangles sewn into the piece in a very geometric pattern and in black, green, and orange thread. I just love this classic and effortless silhouette with the lovely “V” neckline. The dress is a pull over piece, featuring a metal side zipper as well as a side snap and hook. Feels like cotton. There is no label or size tag. Would likely best fit a modern Medium, but please see measurements and remember it is a pull over piece. Model is a modern 4/6 and dress form is a modern Medium for reference.

Approximate Measurements :
Bust: 38 inches
Waist: 28 inches
Hips: relatively open given the style of the piece, but about 44 inches to keep pleating intact
Length: 40.5 inches from back of neck, down
Sleeve Length: about 4 inches - there is no shoulder seam to measure from
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to the dress. There are a few very small faint marks to the piece. There are a few small pulls and loose threads to the piece, mostly where the little embroidered rectangles are. It looks like there may have been a mend to the underarm area and down the side a bit as there is some different stitching there I noticed. Some wear to the inner seam allotments but this should not impact wear. A small pull at the v of the neck, it looks like its been reinforced by the past owner. The collar also likes to flop a tad sometimes. Not a flaw - just how it was made- but you can see stitching at the waist. Also not a flaw, but you do see the dark areas of the embroidered design through the fabric on the skirt where its pleated (see last photo for what I mean).
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment.
