1950s Vintage Tailored Junior Navy Blue Cotton Spring Summer Suit Set with Pockets - XXS to XS
Stunning! This lovely 1950s suit set comes in a wonderful navy blue color. The fabric is light weight and feels like cotton, making it a perfect piece for your Spring and Summer workday wardrobe! The top buttons up the front with a series of buttons and even features small pockets near the waist! The skirt buttons and zips at the side with a metal zipper. The label is for “Tailored Juniors” but additional tags were added in, including someones name (indicating it may have been a uniform?). Would likely best fit a juniors size or Extra Extra Small, maybe an Extra Small. Shown on a size XS dress form. The button on the skirt was difficult to fasten on dress form as skirt was about a centimeter too small. PLEASE read measurements!

Bust: about 32 inches - has dolman style sleeves but does not account for the darting in chest area
Waist: 24 inches
Length: 20 inches (from back of neck, down)
Sleeve Length: about 13 inches (there is no shoulder seam to measure from)
Skirt measurements :
Waist: 23 inches
Hips: 31 inches
Length: 30 inches
Good vintage Condition- Some overall wear to the pieces with an overall very faint color fade - like what one would expect from a piece that has been washed a few times. There are a few loose threads here and there, but none seem to impact wear at all. Some wear to the inner seam allotments of the pieces. A few faint marks found as well that did not come out with cleaning. The bow on the skirt droops a bit sometimes.
