1950s Vintage Teal Green Tone Faux Reptile Handbag Purse
This lovely vintage handbag - possibly form the late 1940s but more likely from the 1950s - comes in a very unique color! The fun faux reptile pattern in teal-greenish tone is complimented so well by the gold tone metal. The piece has a clasp on top that open into the main chamber of the bag. Here, multiple pockets are located, including one with a zipper. Additionally there is a fun little pouch that open at the front! A fun, though seemingly useless component - unless you like to fidget like me- is that the handle can bend as it is hinged! The only indication of a maker is found on the zipper tassel where an “MM” is engraved. I am not sure to what bag maker that belongs to. It should fit most modern smart phones. Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to item. The back shows that its indented a bit in the back, but when full it pops right back out! There are numerous wear spots/scuff marks to the bag, most notable at the edges and corners. The metal portions are tarnished or worn in areas, not necessarily all matching in gold tone. Notably the handle is less gold tone than other areas. The fabric portions (both the front pouch and inside the main chamber, have some faint markings. All component seem to function as intended though and the bag does present beautifully overall. Priced accordingly for flaws and please remember that I pay for standard domestic shipping for you!
