1960s 1970s Vintage Cari-Lu Purple & Brown Plaid Vest and Skirt Suit Set - Md to Lg
What a great set for Autumn! This late 60s or early 70s plaid skirt set features warm tones of purple, maroon, brown, and even pink! Pair it with a fun turtleneck or undershirt to stay extra cozy for all your Fall festivities! The vest buttons in the front and is lined with a sort of backing to the weave. Skirt has same backing and is a pull on with an elastic waist. Exterior fabric feels like an acrylic yarn. Label is for Jean Castle. Would likely best fit a modern Medium, maybe a Large but keep in mind skirt is a pull on. For reference model is modern women’s size 4/6 and dress form is a Medium. Please see measurements though!

Measurements of Skirt :
Waist: 28 inches - 36 inches max depending on stretch (remember this is a pull on so it has to get over your hips!)
Hips : 38 inches
Length: 24 inches
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear. There is some pulls and piling happening to the fabric throughout both pieces. Some loose threads that do not seem to impact wear. Some discoloration to the inner backing of both pieces. Faint marks. Skirt has had new elastic added to the waist. Some wear to the inner seam allotments of both pieces.
Please note, white ruffled shirt is not part of this set, but is for sale separately.
