A lovely vintage handbag with a unique design - a great bag for just about any occasion! The overall piece feels like jute or possibly some other natural fiber- there is no content tag. The colors are a lovely orange, cream, and an almost blue-grey - great for fall! Label is for Rosyln of Barbados and is likely from the 60s or 70s. There is no closure as its more like a tote bag. It should easily fit most modern smart phones (possibly even a tablet or reader for your beach trip!), but please see measurements.

Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to item. Given that it is a tote style bag it is not perfectly symmetrical. Because of the natural material used to create the piece, the bag has areas where the jute (I think its jute anyway) is fuzzy and fraying a bit. Some areas are fuzzier than others- like the interior seams. But I don’t think that this detracts from the bag in any way. There are also a few areas of faint marks on the exterior, the most obvious to me were at the bottom. The fiber looks to be naturally dyed so there is some natural variation to it. There are places where the stitches are faintly visible where the handles and the tag have been sewn into the bag - its just how it was made.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise.
