1960s Vintage Alison Ayers Original Burnt Red Linen Day Dress - Sm
Simple and elegant. This lovely dress comes in a nice warm toned burnt red color. The silhouette is very unique, the dress looks like a two piece, but really its just one with the bodice front imitating a separate top. There is a lovely little flare and small pleats to the skirt as well . The fabric feels like a soft linen, or possibly even a linen-cotton blend. Label for Alison Ayers. The dress zips up the back with a metal zipper. Additionally there is a strap that buttons at the sides and runs across the back. This would likely best fit a modern Small. For reference model is modern size 4/6.

Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to the piece. A few loose threads here and there that do not seem to impact wear. Some color fade to the piece, the worst of this is at the shoulders. There are also numerous marks and some discoloration throughout the piece that did not come out with cleaning. Unfortunately many of these small marks and the color-fade did not show well in the photos, but I have tried my best for you. Some wear to the inner seam allotments. Some small snags and pinholes.
