1960s Vintage Blue Satin Damask Formal Evening Dress or Gown and Matching Jacket - XXS

Absolutely stunning! This gorgeous set features a lovely evening gown and jacket set in the most lovely blue damask satin fabric. The sheen is stunning and perfect for a formal event. The dress portion zips up the side, while the jacket itself buttons in the front. Label tags was cut out so I cannot determine the maker. It does not have a size tag. Would likely best fit a modern Extra Extra Small, but please read measurements. For reference dress form is a modern 0 and I was unable to zip the dress on it - zipper works fine though.

Dress Measurements :

  • Bust: 33 inches, 34 inches maximum pulled taught

  • Waist: 22 inches, 23 inches maximum pulled taught

  • Hips: about 40 inches, but I wouldn’t do more as you do want to keep the pleats intact.

  • Length: 50.5 inches from back of collar, down

Jacket Measurements :

  • Bust: 34 inches

  • Waist/Hem: 27 inches

  • Length: 16.5 inches from back of collar, down

  • Sleeve Length: 17 inches

Good Vintage Condition- Some slight overall wear to the pieces. There are a few small areas of spotting and marks to the piece. Some discoloration around the button holes of the jacket. Tags were cut out by previous owner. A few loose threads that do not impact wear. Fabric does like to wrinkle, so hang it up as soon as you receive package.
