1960s Vintage Creamy Off White Winter Knit Sweater Dress - Sm to Md
Absolutely lovely! This knit dress (likely machine knit as its super tiny stitches and then sewn into form) is likely home sewn, but by such a skilled seamstress! The off white, slightly creamy color goes with almost any outfit and coat. And the 3/4 sleeves coupled with the knit material make this a lovely piece for winter. The gathering at the waist makes it so figure flattering too! Feels like a cotton and acrylic blend, but no content tag to be certain. The item is not lined, so you may want to wear a slip like the model. Zips up the back. Would likely best fit a small to possibly a Medium as there is a tiny bit of give to the knit. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference.

Measurements :
Bust: 37 inches
Waist: 27 inches
Hips: 37 inches
Sleeve Length: about 15 inches form top of shoulder, down - there is no shoulder seam to measure from
Length: 41 inches from back of collar, down
Good Vintage Condition- Some overall wear to the piece. There are a few loose threads here and there that do not seem to impact wear particularly on the inner seam allotments. There are a few faint spots and areas of discoloration that would not come out of dress upon washing. The discoloration specifically was hard to photograph as it is so faint, but I found the most obvious (still not that obvious in my opinion) at the underarms and on the bodice. Zipper works, just needs a hard pull from time to time.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
