WOW! Gotta love a good Hawaiian floral maxi dress! The ones from the 60s/70s are always my personal favorite. This one comes in a lovely pattern primarily in shades of red, orange, and green featuring birds sitting in blossoming trees. Some of the birds even have their names written in cursive below them! It features the coveted Watteau back pleat. The garment zips up the back with a talon zipper (the zipper does not have metal teeth). Label for Elsie Krassas Waikiki. Rn number dates to early 60s. Fabric feels like an acetate, but there is no content tag. There is no size tag, but would likely best fit a modern day Small, but please see measurements. Model is modern size 4-6 for reference. The piece is not lined, you may want to wear a slip.

Bust: about 35 inches/36 pulled taught as there is a lot of bunching at the chest (model is a 34b but is wearing a bullet bra and it seemed to work ok!)
Waist : 30 inches (measured slightly higher up - see image)
Hips: about 36 inches
Length: about 52 inches measured from shoulder, down - please note its ever so slightly longer where the pleat is is back
Good Vintage Condition- Some overall wear to the piece. There are some areas of yellowing/discoloration that did not come out with cleaning - most obvious to my eye was at the underarms but it is in a few other areas as well. There are also a few marks to the piece throughout that did not come out fully with cleaning. A few loose threads as well as some wear to the inner seam allotments that should not impact wear. A few pulls and minor pilling to the fabric in some places.
