1960s 1970s Vintage Francis Brewster NEW OLD STOCK Blue Toned Silk Kaftan Maxi Dress with Pockets - Sm
WOW! Shocking blue toned kaftan with matching tie sash AND it has POCKETS!! The fabric is 100% silk. Label for Frances Brewster, and has original store tag - hence its dead stock or new old stock. Likely from the 70s, though this tag does span 60s to early 80s based on online comps. Zips up the back. Would likely best fit modern size Small. Though this fit is meant to be a bit loose. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference.

Sleeve Length: about 15 inches (seam does not quite line up where shoulder actually is)
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to the dress, inside (see seam allotments) and out, but its still bright and beautiful! There are a few areas of marks and discoloration- likely from how it was stored in years past. Because of the sheen of the fabric I was unable to capture these on camera well. The last few images show the best I was able to do, apologies. Please note the last image had to be saturated to demonstrate the slight color fade of the dress at that location - these are not the true colors of the dress in person. Not a flaw, but the silk itself has a brushed texture effect in places where the woven fiber is thicker and/or creates a linear or pull affect in a few places.
Please note the fabric likes to wrinkle easily, you should hang it up as soon as receiving.
