1960s Vintage Funky MOD Purple Long Sleeve Dress - Xs to Sm
Purple is one of the best colors to wear for Spring!!!! And honestly, this is one of the sweetest dresses I have seen in quiet some time! The mini purple shift style dress has the coolest sleeves and pleating detail! The dress zips up the back with a Taylon zip. The pocket and the buttons are all decorative. Fabric feels like a silk-wool blend and is lined. There is no label. The dress is meant to fit like a shift style dress- so a bit loosely in the waist- as such it would likely best fit a modern Extra Small, possibly a small, BUT hip measurement is likely best for an extra small if you want to keep pleating in tact and not spreading apart! Sleeve Length: 20 inches
Fair vintage condition - Presents beautifully overall and I think its still wearable but there is some overall wear to the dress, including that the fabric does exhibit some notable wear in a a few place especially the sleeves- some of which have been mended/patched. Unfortunately a few stubborn marks are also present and remain throughout piece, despite repeated attempts to remove them. This includes some discoloration at the underarms on the interior. Some wear to the inner seam allotments. There are snaps within the collar (on the inside) that likely attached a matching removable collar, but the collar is now missing. Small hole found on inside of dress near zipper and hook closure - not noticeable when worn.
