1960s Vintage Golden Sand Sheath Dress Set With Lace Duster - XS
This stunning warm toned sheath dress and duster set would make a great Fall staple for events! The dress is in a golden sand colored crepe- like fabric with golden sequins adoring the bodice (the color is not straight yellow). The look is completed with a matching duster in a lace of the same color. The dress zips up the back with a metal zipper and the duster closes at the neck with a hook. There are no labels or size tags. Would likely best fit a modern extra small, but please refer to measurements. For reference dress form is a modern size 0 and it seemed to fit well.

Bust: about 32 inches when accounting for the darting - dress form measures 32 inches for referenceWaist: 26 inches (measured just below the bow line)
Hips: 34 inches
Length: 33 inches
Duster Measurements :
Neck: 13 inches
Bust: relatively open given no closure
Waist: relatively open given no closure
Length: 36 inches
Sleeve Length: 17 inches
Good to Fair vintage condition- The set presents beautifully, BUT there is a large mark on the hip of the dress that would not come out with cleaning. Fortunately when the lace jacket or duster is worn, the mark is covered and not noticeable. Other issues include some minor discoloration to the crepe fabric as well as some small snags and loose threads to the fabrics. The hem is a tiny bit bunched up on the dress and the structure used to give the hem some body on the duster bends in places. Neither of these hem issues should impact its wear or look too much in my opinion. There are some sequins with tarnish and discoloration, but I could not find any active sequin loss. There are some loose threads in the area though. Some wear to the interior of the dress as well, as expected. Some small snags on the lace, but I could not find and rips. But the lace is delicate so wear with care. May be best for costume or study.
