NOS RARE 1960s Vintage I.Magnin for Gino Charles Coral Pink Silk-Wool Beaded MOD Dress - Xs/Sm
NOS - NEW OLD STOCK!! This late 1960s - 1969 to be exact- coral pink silk dress is a STUNNER! The thick and structured fabric and long sleeves will make this a great piece for the chilly air. But the shorter length and fun iridescent color, really makes this an easy piece to wear with modern accessories. The beading details on the cuffs and collar really make this dress stand out! The dress zips up the back with a back metal zipper. There is an additional snap closure at the neck if you want to not have a "V" neck. You can choose to use the original belt or not. The dress even has the original store tag (with the date!) inside the right arm sleeve. Tag says fabric is a silk, wool blend - there is absolutely no give. It is lined. There are two labels on this dress, the coveted I.Magnin label as well as Gino Charles. Says vintage size 8, but given the measurements this would likely best fit a vintage Small, possibly an Extra Small. The model is a modern size 4/6 for reference, and it was a tad bit tight across the shoulders.

Waist: 28 inches
Hips: 38 inches without stretching pleat out fully
Length: 35 inches
Sleeve Length: 22 inches
Shoulders (across from seam to seam) : 15 inches
Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to the piece. There are some marks and areas of discoloration to the piece, but this was generally very difficult to capture with the camera given the iridescent nature of the fabric. A few loose threads that do not seem to impact wear. The belt shows marks and wear spots too. I have had the beading reinforced on this piece, however some beads have continued to fall off - and will likely continue to fall off!! I have had the beads reinforced in a places a few times now and while it's hard to say whether or not this will continue, I highly suggest you expect that at some point (either right away or later on or both) you will likely need to re-bead some of the beads to the dress. As such I have marked this down considerably to accommodate for this issue.
