1960s Vintage L'Aiglon Orange Brocade Style Jacket & Dress Set - XL

A very unique 1960s dress and jacket set that is an absolute Autumnal dream! The heavily woven fabric feels like a type of brocade to me as it does have a slight texture to it. The overall color is orange but it also features a subtle golden yellow and a light purple in the floral pattern (see up close). The shift style silhouette of the dress is both comfy and cute! The mod style jackets length makes it a perfect addition to the dress and will keep you warm on those chillier days. Dress zips in the back and jacket hooks up in the front. Jacket is labeled for L’Aiglon and dress has a union tag. Would likely best fit a modern Extra Large, but please see measurements!!! The dress form is a modern medium for reference.

Length: 38 inches (measured from back of neck and down)

Approximate Measurements of Jacket: Meant to be larger to fit over dress

Bust: 46 inches

Hem: 45 inches
Length: 22 inches (measured from back of neck and down)
Sleeve Length: 19 inches from top of shoulder, down
Good vintage condition - Overall wear to both pieces. There are some pulls to the fabric of both the jacket and dress. Some underarm pulls and wear to the interior lining of the jacket. Some slight pilling and wear to the fabric at the underarms of the dress, but very minimal. Slight wear to seam allotments inside the dress too. It looks like the dress may have been shortened in the past (though done very professionally) as there is a slight crease seen inside at the hem.
