1960s Vintage QualiCraft Plum Purple Suede Tie Square Top Dress Shoe or Heels - 8.5

$99.00

These lovely 1960s vintage heels just arrived in time for all your Fall outfits!! The unique plum purple color is so hard to find. I just love the laces in the front too! The label is only on one shoe and says “QualiCraft ”. The outer feels like suede. No size is provided on them but I think they are about a size 8.5 based upon measurements and how they fit. I am a size 9 generally and while they fit technically there is no way I would ever be able to walk around in them - far too tight when weight was put onto my foot. But please see measurements and judge for yourself.

Measurements (also shown in photos) -

Shoe length : just over 10 inches

Heel height : 2 inches

Width at the ball of foot: just over 3 inches wide

Good Vintage Condition - There is some overall wear to the shoes. There are some faint marks, scratches and scuffs to the suede, most noticeable to me on the toes and the back of the heel. There is some slight color fade to the suede too - most noticeable to me was on one toe box. Some marks and wear to the soles, inside and out. The inside of the sole it lifting a bit. The heel has some chips in the heal cap too. Color of the shoe strings is not a perfect match to the suede. I am not sure if the shoes strings were original or not.

Wearing vintage shoes is so much fun as you can never find shoes like these now days, BUT please take note that this also causes wear and damage. As such vintage shoes will ALWAYS need constant maintenance (glue, re-sole, etc.) from a professional cobbler to keep them in working order.

All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
