1960s Vintage Rainbow Abstract Floral Ruffled Loungewear Robe or House Coat - Sm to Md
Absolutely stunning 1960 rainbow robe or house coat. It appears to be an abstract pattern of flowers in a multitude of colors including blue, pink, green and yellow. I just love the extra detail of the ruffled trim on the sleeves, collar, and up the front. The piece buttons up the front and has one pocket. I could not find any labels. Fabric feels like a sort of acetate. It seems to be somewhat accommodating in size, but would still likely best fit a modern Small or Medium as its meant to be comfortable and loose house wear, but please see measurements. For reference model is modern size 4/6.

Measurements:
Bust : 38 inches
Waist: 40 inches
Hips: 45 inches
Sleeve Length: about 10 inches
Total Length: 40 inches (from back of collar, down)
Good Vintage Condition - There is some overall wear to the piece with a few loose threads that do not seem to impact wear. I am honestly not sure if this is a flaw or just the way the print was done, but you can see some slight yellow marks in a few of the pink roses as well as some color fade to parts of the pattern. It does seem regular, like its repetitive, but again its just so hard to tell if it truly is the pattern or just age related variation. Not a flaw, but you can see some hand stitching to the hem and sleeves - its just how it was made. Some very small pin holes found. Some slight wear to the inner seam allotments ,as one would expect - this should not impact wear at all. Fabric likes to wrinkle, so hang it up right away!
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
