A lovely vintage muumuu style dress with the prettiest MOD floral print. The orange, green, pink and blue colors are subdued enough in my opinion to make this floral print work for Fall! The dress features a very small slit at the hem on one side and the cutest little flounce-like style sleeves. The piece was likely intended to be a house dress originally, but I feel like it could easily be styled to be worn out and about now days! The piece zips up the front with a metal talon zipper and has pockets! Fabric feels like a type of synthetic, possibly an acetate or rayon blend. It does have a slight sheen to it! There are no tags to indicate maker and was probably home made. It seems to be somewhat accommodating in size, but would still likely best fit a modern Large to Extra Large, though please note it is a house dress so was originally meant to be comfortable and loose. Bust : 42 inches , but there is a tad but of gathering to the fabric here and can accommodate about 44 inches if pulled taught.
Waist: 47 inches
Hips: 46 inches
Total Length: 49.5 inches (from back of collar, down)
Sleeve Length: about 11.5 inches, there is no shoulder seem to measure from.
Good Vintage Condition - Some overall wear to the piece. There are numerous spots and marks that did not come out with cleaning, most of these look to actually be color bleed from the orange of the piece. Where the small slit is at the hem, there is some wear/pull. There is some wear to the inner seem allotments that do not seem to impact wearability at all. The seam allotments are VERY small so this cannot be taken out AT ALL! One area where a mend looks to have been made on the front portion of the skirt near the seam. There is also one small hole I found near the hem.
