1990s Vintage German Hammerschmid White Cotton Crop Top Blouse for Dirndl - Sm
A classic white cotton blouse in a crop top style - which is used underneath a traditional German dirndl dress. The garment buttons up the front with shell buttons. I am uncertain of age of this garment, but believe it to be from the 90s based upon online comparisons. Label says cotton. Label has various European sizes, but I believe it would likely best fit a modern Small. Fit is not meant to be skin tight. Dress form is a modern Extra Small and model is modern size 4/6 for reference, but please see measurements. Please note the dress is sold separately. Bust: about 35 inches (model is a modern 34B for reference)
Under-bust (measured where the elastic is) : about 20-34 inches depending on elastic stretch - it seems to sit just below the chest, more like an under-bust rather than the natural waist.
Length: 12 inches
Sleeve Length: 17 inches
Good vintage condition- some overall wear to the piece. Some faint marks that would not come out with cleaning. There are also some light underarm discolorations/yellowing that I could not get out fully with repeated treatment. All of this was VERY difficult to capture on camera but I tried my beast.
