1980s Vintage Laurence Kazar Silk Blue Beaded Party Dress - 4X
Such a stunning 1980s party dress! Navy blue dress with beaded detailing throughout, including lovely silver beading to the neckline, sleeves, and hem. So much detail went into beading this piece! There is a little slit in the back. The look of the dress is very 80s does 20s with a bloused sort of bodice. The dress zips up the back and has shoulder pads - though as you can see from the pictures, the look to be easily removable. Label is for Laurence Kazar New York. The tag says 100 % silk exterior and polyester lining . Tag says vintage size 4X. Please see measurements, the bodice is meant to be bloused in a 80s does 20s style.

Seam (which I think is meant to be around the hips to give a drop waist 20s look): 58 inches
Length: about 46 inches (given the detailed along the hem)
Sleeve Length: 25 inches
Good vintage condition - Overall wear to dress. There is some gather to the base of the zipper, which I was uncertain if this was original or not. There are a few tiny pinholes and loose threads here and there, but none of it seams to impact wear. Minor bead loss, it does not appear significant or super obvious to me. Minor marks, mostly inside lining of dress.
Please note, because of the elaborate beading, the dress is heavy and will require a strong hanger.
