A lovely knit sweater set - likely vintage. I say “likely” because there were absolutely no comparisons to this label or piece online anywhere that I could find. There is however a designer by the same name who began work in 2011, though her labels do not match this from what I could find and the tags here do look 90s/early 2000s. I will be honest, I am not usually so stumped by a piece, but I am a bit baffled and just want to be transparent about this confusing tag. THAT SAID - this is a stunning knit set that would be a wonderful Fall staple. The set features a lovely overall burgundy color knit with dark navy blue trim. The hem of the sweater portion has the loveliest crochet scalloped finish. The sweater is a pull over piece and features a draw string at the waist. The skirt is a pull on piece with elastic waist. The label is for Chiang, and says size 6. Knit feels like a rayon blend (to me the fabric feels like a St. Johns knit for reference). Would likely best fit a modern Small but does have some slight give given its knit. For reference model is modern women’s size 4/6. Please see measurement - though remember there is a bit of give to the fabric.

Measurements of Top NOT Stretched :
Bust: 34 inches - does have some give of fabric because its a knit; model is a 34 B, for reference
Waist : 30 inches (there is give here too (model is 26 inches for reference)
Length: 22 inches
Sleeve Length: about 23 inches (from shoulder, down)
Sleeve opening : 2.5 inches flat from flat lay, but can stretch up to about 3.5 inches from flat lay.
Measurements of Skirt :
Waist: 26 inches to about 32 inches max with elastic stretched
Hips : 36 inches does have some give of fabric because its a knit
Length: 26 inches
Good vintage condition - There is some overall wear to the pieces. I noticed a faint mark to one of the buttons and some slight wear that is indicated by some small pulls to the fabric. The elastic does function, but seems older in that its a teeny bit stiff, so it may need to be replaced in future. But again still seems to work for now! Some wear to the ends of the ties at the waist. Some slight wear to the inner seam allotments. Not a flaw, but light does peak through a bit when held up to window, so you may want to wear a slip underneath (see last photo).
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
