A lovely pair of antique or vintage cream crochet gloves. These would just be the loveliest pieces for almost any occasion. The amount of time and skill it must have taken to make these beautiful gloves … just awe inspiring really! They are pull on pieces, with a tiny crochet button closure at the wrist. Because of the netted crochet style, they do have some give to them, which is handy when pulling them on. Likely from the 30s, but they could be even older. There is no label - almost certainly handmade. Please refer to measurements in photos!

Measurements shown in photos - I believe based upon length, and especially width of gloves they would be best for a Small, Maybe a Medium. But I am not 100% familiar with how to size gloves, and most sizing charts online are have a wide variation with their measurements. That said PLEASE see photos and compare measurements to your own hand to verify how they will fit you! If you need more measurements please ask me.
Good to Fair Vintage Condition - These gloves present beautifully, but there is some overall yellowing/discoloration that does denote them as possibly “fair” - though I do think they are still wearable. Some overall general wear to the gloves. There is some notable yellowing present as mentioned above. I was able to remove a great deal of it, but unfortunately there is still some present. This discoloration, marks, and yellowing is present throughout both pieces but to my eye it is most obvious on the fingers. You could always try a harsher cleaning method to remove more of the yellowing, but it could damage the old fiber so I do caution this. When worn, I personally do not think that the yellowing and spots are as obvious as when its just flat against a white backdrop. To my eye they right glove is ever so slightly more discolored than the left. They are hand crochet pieces, so they are likely not exactly PERFECTLY symmetrical/even. They do seem structurally sound though and still wearable with care.
