1960s Vintage Vanity Fair Black Slip Dress with Lace Trim - Lg
A classic vintage staple - the black dress slip. Vintage dress slips are the secret to anyones vintage wardrobe. They can help minimizing undergarment lines and I personally cannot wear a wool knit sets without one (as they keep that itchy vintage wool away from your skin!). A true vintage fashion staple. This lovely black slip features lace detailing across the hem and the bodice. Additionally there is a lovely asymmetry (intentional) to the lace detailing that culminates in a lovely little side slit! Fabric is Tricot Nylon Label is for Vanity Fair. Tag says size 40. Would likely best fit a modern Large. Please note this is a pullover piece as there are no closures. Dress form is a size Medium for reference and slip was pinned to it in front facing photos.
