Vintage Cream Crepe Silk Scarf with Rose Motif and Hand Rolled Edges

$29.00

This piece is perfect to add to your fall accessories! You can add it to a suit jacket or even have it adorning your bag! So versatile and pretty! The creamy, slightly sheer background features a rose floral pattern in lovely fall colors. I believe it to be dated to the 1950s or 1960s based upon how its made and the context from which it came - an estate sale with most everything dating to that period, but its difficult to say for certain what the age is given there is no label. The edges are hand rolled and hand stitched. Item feels and looks like crepe silk.

Approximate Measurements : 21 × 21 inches SEE PHOTO!

Good vintage condition - Some overall wear to piece. Some marks and spots found that did not come out with cleaning. These were slightly difficult to capture with the camera given the sheer nature of the fabric. A pinhole - possibly from original tag(?)- found on item in a corner as well. Some areas of tiny pulls and wear spots to the fabric, most of this is concentrated around one area. This is most obvious to my eye when its held up against a dark background.

All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
