1960s Vintage Bright Blue Linen Formal Maxi Dress with Lace Applique Collar - Sm
For those hot summer formal weddings - you need a blue linen maxi dress! This awesome 1960s piece is a lovely and comfortable little shift dress! The linen fabric makes this a summer essential, and the bright blue and lace could make this the sweetest dress for a wedding guest for nay outdoor wedding! Zips up the back with a metal zipper and snap/hook closes at the lace collar. There is a union tag and a lot/style tag, but there is no tag to indicate maker. The fabric feels like heavy duty linen - it is fully lined. Would likely best fit a modern day Small. It is meant to be somewhat loose- like a shift dress. Model is modern size 4-6 for reference, and its a tiny bit tight across the hips for her.

Good Vintage Condition- Overall wear to the piece. Remember it is linen-like fabric so hang it up right away to prevent wrinkling. It looks like it may have been altered at the hem in the past as the hem does not have the usual extra fabric and it is slightly longer at the back (last pictured). There are a few small threads and tiny pulls here and there. There is also some faint color fading occurring to item, which is concentrated to the bottom half of the garment - it was really difficult to photograph. The lace has a very faint color difference as well.
