Unique 1960s Vintage Colorful Rainbow Embroidered Envelope Style Purse or Bag
A very unique style vintage handbag embroidered with colorful leaves and flowers against white vinyl - absolutely darling and perfect for Spring and Summer! The interior has one small pocket. The piece opens up like an envelope and the closure is a gold tone clasp on the front. Handle is on rivets and is able to bend. Likely from the 60s. There is no label. It should easily fit most modern smart phones, but please see measurements.

measures about 9 inches across (at the widest point) x 7.5 inches tall (not including handles) x 4 inches deep (measured on the bottom)
Good to Fair vintage condition - Presents beautifully overall, but there are a number of smaller issues that when piled up make me say “good to fair”. There is of course some overall wear to item with some marks and areas of discoloration to the bag. To my eye the most obvious on the exterior is on the bottom and edges of the white portion of the bag where it seems a bit pink in places. Most of this is hidden or not obvious when the envelope flap is folded over, but when you lift the front panel of the envelope, the marks and indentation of the metal circle are more obvious in my opinion. The embroidered colorful part does exhibit some faint markings and wear to the edges as well as a few loose threads that do not seem to impact wear. On the inside of the bag, the lining shows wear and marks and areas of discoloration. Additionally you can see where the inside edges have been re-glued down. Minor wear to metal fastenings. Please note, that to close the bag, the metal portion has to lineup perfectly (the circular metal portion can move around). If it is lined up, it closes just fine!!! Priced accordingly for the flaws associated with such a unique bag.
