Vintage Mid Century Burgundy Pleated Adjustable Cummerbund or Belt - Sm to Md
If your looking for a way to really elevate your vintage look, try a vintage cummerbund instead of a belt! This great fabric cummerbund would make an excellent fall accessory. The burgundy fabric with unique geometric print is very simple but can easily make any outfit stand out! I particularly love the pleated nature of the piece! Simple metal loop closure that is slightly adjustable. Label is for Gordon. It should fit a modern Small to Medium given it is slightly adjustable because of the closure. Shown on a modern Womens size Extra Small dress form and it was a tad large for it. Please see measurements and photo of length! Likely a piece from the 50s or 60s, though I could not find any tag comparisons.

Measurements:
Length : about 35 inches in total - there is no give the the piece. You will need a slight bit of the length to form the tail to actually fasten it to you (see up close image on dress form). As such I would say that it should fit a 26 - 30 inch waist
Width : about 3.75 inches at the widest point
Good vintage condition - Some general overall wear to the piece. There is some tarnish and minor scratches to the metal of the item. Some very small loose threads, nothing that seems to impact wear at all. A few VERY small and faint marks seen only in certain lighting. A very slight crease down the front center that did not come out with steaming, likely just from years of storage being folded in half.
All measurements are approximate as they are taken flat - for garments specifically this means where applicable (bust, waist, hips) has been doubled unless stated otherwise. If you are uncertain about fit and/or need more measurements please ask! If it is provided in the listing, models and/or dress form sizes are used as a point of reference only. Please remember that all bodies are different so always defer to the measurements I provide and check them against your own, preferably on a similar style garment. If you need more information about my measurements and vintage sizing please refer to my FAQs section under my Shop Policies page and ask me, I am here to help!!
