1950s Vintage Pale Blue & White Floral Headpiece Hat
A lovely light blue and off-white floral headpiece - a great summer wedding accessory. It features a light powder blue velvet bow atop, with flowers in a variety of fabrics throughout. The piece is more like a headpiece, almost a head band, as the frame can be pulled to make it slightly larger (very much like a headband). You may need to pin this to keep it on ones head securely. There is a tag, though it seems tucked into the frame, but it looks to read “Made in Japan”.

Measurements: for reference models hat size is 21.5.
Across (from ear to ear not pulled): about 5 inches (though as its a headpiece, it does somewhat act as a headband and can be pulled out some)
Width (top to bottom): about 3 inches
Good to Fair Vintage Condition - This piece does have some overall wear, but functions as intended and still looks lovely - especially in photos. Perhaps the biggest issue is the fabric on many of the flowers is fraying or bent.. Additionally there are numerous marks and areas of discoloration to the headpiece - most notable are those on the flowers, as well as the frame. It looks like it may once have had a netting to cover the face as you can see some of this from the underside, but it is not visible when worn.
